Update: May 15,
2008
Dear Beloved family,
Warm, greetings in the mighty name of Jesus Christ!
We are at war. We have take the whole of this week as the Lord led to be in prayer. We
sense a heavy spiritual warfare on our country and us in the Ministry. The devil tries
alot to get a tiny space so he can war against us but the Lord is great and mighty.
We believe you do well and Christ has kept you safe for His own purposes.
We would like to update you of the great hand of the Lord reaching to save those taken to
be noble. These two Brothers now are saved and proclaim Jesus victory. Mohammed and Yusuf
got converted just two week ago when one of them, Said, reached them with the simple
gospel of Jesus Christ. Said got saved last year and he shifted to Mumias , a Moslem town
and the Lord led him to our church in the town. He is doing the work of Evangelism in the
town.
The three Brother now have brought about a difference in Moslem town and we pray that the
Lord will protect them so He can use them. These three say they need some transportation
means (bicycles) to evangelize in the areas. We continue to pray for them that the
Lord may keep and strengthen them.
These brothers narrate how Islam is full of rules and laws that no one, even their leaders
can't live on them. They have a tough culture but they start finding liberty in
Christianity. Said know much because his father was an IMAM and him one of the
crusaders. Said started a mosque and was an adminstrator in the same. Moslems study
Bible and learn how to challenge Christians so they can win them. With us Christians,
don't read Quran so we can understand the challenges they can give us.
We will keep you informaed of their lives as we celebrate Jesus victory.
The Lord is great and there is none like Him, no one like Jehovah.
Blessings....

April 16, 2008
Dear Friends and Prayer warriors,
Receive warm greetings in the mighty name of our Lord Jesus!
We are all happy and grateful to the Lord for His favor, mercies and protection over our
family and the Ministry however we might have been affected.
We now have this privilege to thank you all for your continued love, prayers and support
you gave towards us and the ministry due to the effects of both the post election violence
and military operations in western Kenya. Your prayers were precious and scence before the
Lord and He finaly remembered our country to bring back calm and peace to this nation.
Majorly, Kenya, achristian country loves God. But the devil has been looking for
way to fault this nation. Please, continue to pray for this region because there is a plan
by Moslems to trun africa into Islam.
Recently, The President of Libya, Muamar Gaddafi visited Uganda to open a very huge
Mosque. He stood before people with two books, a Bible and Koran. He asked people to
name them and he threw down the Bible terming it false and lifted up Koran |
terming it 'true'. and all the people
shouted in praise. The war we've had in Kenya saw over 400 churche structures burned
without even one mosque being destroyed. The Moslems have used politicians and will
continue to use them so to turn this country into Islam.
Just after the President announced a new coalition Government, Mungiki sect religion came
in to action of destruction and killing next morning. There is again fear and tension as
Police track down these huligans. They have come up strongly in towns and raising again an
alamr of help.
We continue to have prayer and fasting so the Lord would interven and save our nation.
May the Lord God Almighty bless you abundantly above all that you may ask of Him.
No other God than Jehovah, no one like you!
Blessings....

Dear Friends,
Receive warm greetings in the name of Jesus Christ!
The Lord is good for He has been faithful and merciful to us all this time.
We would like to inform you all of the updates of the happenings here and around.
We still have the heavy presence of the Military around us and the Mt Elgon operation
still hots up as tension hightens around the country.
The unexplainable things are happening with many orphans coming to our church begging for
any kind of help we may have. Always there is no enough help. We also have felt the
effects in our lives and would want to help people but just within our reach. We usually
tell them we don't have much that could sustain them and also our families but we just
share the little the Lord provides.
Skirmishes have again started with more people injured and properties destroyed. The areas
most affected are Nairobi; Kibera, Kayole in Kinsumu, Kakamega, Kericho, Turbo, Eldoret
and parts of Western province. The Western Province was and has been affeceted by both
post election violence and military operations in Mt Elgon region.
|
We are experiencing the highest
inflation we ever witnessed here with prices shooting up four times high. if we can feel
the impact to this degree, then it means worst on poor majority. We still can't access the
military operation zone where our people are adversely affcted.
With the current situation even if peace returns, we expect high rise in thurggery,
murder, rape cases, tribalism at work and in resource distribution, high cost of goods and
services, bitterness, and the valley of all evil etc.
We once again would like to request for your prayers for us, Ministry and the country.
Prayer continue every week with fasting as from Wednesday to Sunday. We will not
faint because our hope is built on nothingless but Jesus Christ's blood of righteousness.
The Lord is good all times. None like Father in Heaven, no one like Jehovah.
Your Servant,
Francis and Dora Bushebi

Update:
| Thursday, March 27, 2008 9:14 AM Dear Beloved family,
Warm greetings in the mighty name of Jesus Christ!
The Lord is good all time! We are
privileged to wage war against the Lord's enemies in His own name as an army prepared for
His glory.
We would like to make an update
of things here. Things go rough everyday as we see other expenses on the formation of a
new cabinet that will include the Prime- Minister. The tax payer will be strained more
than even already strained.
Services and commodities are
expected to rise higher again. The formation of new ministries and prime-minister
posts are just but to cost the common man. Already important goods like bread hikened from
Shs 14/= to 40 now. Already the many poor suffer allot. |
The central bank
has issued a warning of high inflation now standing at 10%.
We will continue to ask the Lord
our friend to be with us always as we fight it out.
The post election violence saw
over 400 churches/ structures burned down. No Mosque was burned.
We are and we will be for Christ
now and forever.
We urge you for your prayers as
we remember you also in the unity the Lord gave us.
Blessings.........

Violence In Our Area:
| March 15, 2008, 8:27 AM (See Newspaper Article) Dear Beloved Saints,
Greetings in the mighty name of Jesus Christ the Lord!
We hope the Lord is with you and move on step to step under His direction. All here
are grateful to the Lord for what happens and rejoice in Him for His peace in Spirit given
to His own people.
The war here seem not to end. The outlawed Sabaot Land Defence Force started engaging the
Government forces in a fearce exchange. The forces in Mt Elgom has left very many
again fleeing. We now already have more than 47,000 displaced. Part of Mt. Elgon is
in Bungoma district. This war is just 30 miles from Bungoma. The trained
militia group which belonged and sponsored by the opposition had planned to invade Bungoma
and the whole of western and cut off the western and nyanza provinces from Kenya for their
own adminstration and continue to fight to capital city.
The search for these group has been extended to Bungoma where we are. There is house to
house |
police search and using detectors and
helicopters. The Mt Elgon region is like the food gallery. There is great
famine that looms here. The fighting
using guns, motor grenades and bombs has shaken the region. The bombs are detonated
30 miles from here but the earth shakes. The Government has killed many of the group, many
others melted among the communities and others arrested.
With your prayers, we believe the Lord will protect His own people and Ministry. We
have been adversely affected and we pray the Lord's protection and provision for the
victims we have in our church, needy and orphans.
The number of orphans in Kenya has already risen. We just have to settle from the
mayhem so we can know what to do.
Your prayers are precious. May the Lord bless you all.

SPIRITUAL WARFARE CONTINUES
Tuesday, March 11, 2008 8:35 AM
Dear Friends and Co-workers,
Receive March greetings in the mighty name of our Lord Jesus Christ!
We are up in armour of the Lord to fight a good fight of the spiritual. The Lord has
been good to us and will not wear to serve and praise Him for His greatness and plans. The
Lord enabled us to go through the volatile situation in our country that hit many people.
He know how to care and protect His own.
We would like to inform you that the war still continues: The influence of,
propaganda, socery, seers, tribalism, religous spirits, witchcraft in politics overwhelmed
many. The wave was so heavy that swept many who left Christ for it. This was the
working of Anti-christ spirit over Kenya. The church was divided and engaged in hot
politics.
The Lord was not happy and still much has to be done to return to track. This led to
the whip that hit many parts of the country. We still sense its not over. The
skirmishes now seem to rise again even after the political deal was signed between the two
leaders. Still there is tribal hatred and tension. Fighting continues in several
parts of the country which might even spread due to the demands surrounding the power
sharing deal in Government.
In Mt. Elgon where the Government is now come in with force to flush out the local tribal
militia group that has claimed over 500 people in 1 1/2 years now, people are fleeing,
lives are being lost, properties destruction take place and its only 30 miles from Bungoma
city. There is no food supply from and to the area. We see helicopters daily flying over
us |
heading to Mt Elgon area
which part of it is in Bungoma district. The Mt. Elgon region is like the granery of food
in the regionr;oduces alot in Kenya. Cherengani is just 70 miles from here, the
Pokot tribe have decided to kill other tribe, take their livestocks and take cover in
thick forests. Elsewhere;in Kuresoi 170 miles from here, Laikipia 200 miles, Sotik,
300 miles, Transmara 270 miles, Kilgoris 330 miles etc. These regions have had it
rough because of tribal animosity. Its sometimes hard for the Government to control
because the war is of family against family not one common enemy from somewhere. This has
damaged the unity that has to be shown in church and by church.
We continue to ask for your togetherness, your prayers and sacrifces towards this
great need to war against this evil spirit of anti-christ.
Things are in bad shape due to the violence aftermath. Many are suffering due to high
prices of commodities and services.Bugglery and Thuggery are on the rise.Surely only the
Lord can save this situation. We even don't have words to express what is happening.
There is alot of speculations, rumours that make people here panic.
We want to thank the Lord because He has kept us fight in His Spirit. We also thank Him
for you for your prayers for us, Ministry and country Kenya.
May the Lord ignite you for His work in
His Spirit unto the reality.
Blessingss...

SPIRITUAL WARFARE CONTINUES
Tuesday, February 26, 2008 10:49 AM
Dear Beloved family and Saints,
Warm
greetings in the name of Jesus Christ.
The Lord
is good all the time as He has lead us through many things and experience.
We would
love to inform you of the latest reports concerning the status in Kenya now. This is to
urge you for more prayers.
The
talks have gone on well since January. It seems the opposition wants more power in
Governance than the present government. This has lead to a stalemate where now the
opposition called for mass disobedience, and civil protest.
This
call has been criticised by the church and other organisation. The opposition itself call
it peaceful demonstration country wide but its not. We have seen from the last one
there was life and property distruction. This is unfair.
We
continue to look to the Lord Jesus for the current situation and help for the victims in
our homes and church. There is funerals everywhere. Many people died of the election
skirmishes and yet we are now deemed to face another.
The mass
disobedience are called for as from |
February Thursday 28th 2008. (See Newspaper Article)
It worries that when it starts, we will not have time and provision for food and usual
daily activites. This makes us think of how the Lord will make it for us here. The basic
commodities are already very expensive with high prices of gas, transportation, hardly
found food, security etc.
The
tribal groups have been mobilized to defend and fight for their people:this is terrible
and will be worse if violence break out again. We also have to taken caution of our church
place knowing very well that churches are targeted.
We have
many people who depend on us and we look to Jesus for wisdom, guidance and provision.
We
dearly request for your prayers at this time when the needs are so high with tension also
high expecting anything worse to happen. The Lord has to intervene and save His people.
We will
be thankfull for your support, love and prayers.
We
appreciatte what the Lord is doing through you folks and we continually remember you in
our prayers.
May the
Lord bless you all.....

Kenya Turmoil (0802)
Dear Friends and
co-workers,
Greetings in the mighty name of Jesus Christ our beloved Lord and Brother!
Hope everything is well with you over
there as the Lord increases His favor and life in you.
The Lord is great that He has taken care
of us all despite of the on-going skirmishes that have rocked the country.
The country has seen the worst and there
is still high tensions. Many different tribes now seek asylum and or move back to their
home tribal lands. The inter-married have a big problem because one has to leave another.
It has turned out to be tribe against tribe (over 42 tribes). For the second time
now the great Nairobi highway from Bungoma is not passable. There is fighting going
on in Eldoret, Nakuru and Naivasha and now the great Kisumu Nairobi highway also not
passable. It seems these problem will not be settled soon and therefore we continue
to request for your prayers for Kenya. Killings continue as rival groups seek for
each others lives. The former UN Secretary Koffi Annan is in the country for negotiations.
We know that the Lord has to intervene so the situation wouldn't be worst. 20 people
were burnt alive in the house they had taken refuge in Naivasha. More than 70 have
been killed in Nakuru city now five days of running battles. The situation sometimes
seems running out of control of police because this fighting is in interior estates where
as police patrol the |
main roads. Kenya
army has been called to assist the victims by evacuating them to churches and police
posts.
In Bungoma today morning, there was a
stampede when reports went around that the battling neearby tribe was in town to stage
violence since Bungoma had shown some calm. There is high tension in town and bussinesses
are partially closed.
Its now amonth since the violence broke
up. The situation could worsen if the violence continues. The commodities prices continue
to hike daily as transportation and communication are halted. Money flow is a problem and
this could result in many opting for thuggery and theft. One priest was murdered in
Rift Valley just because he was of a tribe from oponent one. One of our churches in Karara
was demolished. The Church in Kibera also was demolished in the first round of violence.
The people who are also adversely affected are the rich and averagely rich.
The Lord has given us the peace He
promised to give the Saints and he protects also.
We look to the Lord for help, protection
provision and all we need for the victims and needy and for ourselves.
Blessings....
